We stayed a week at the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel in May. We were there for our 7th visit celebrating our 42nd anniversary. As each previous visit, the hotel was superb. Our room was always cleaned to perfection and the grounds were immaculate. The location is probably the best on Maui. The view from the beach is beautiful. We did not rent a car this visit and were able to find plenty of shopping and dining within walking distance. There was a nightly huly show in the courtyard, and many activites daily. The very best part of our visit was the wonderful hotel staff . Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. This is truly Maui's most Hawaiian hotel. We plan to return again and always recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

We loved this hotel. The staff were always there for you.Our room was always cleaned to perfection. View from the ocean view room on the 6th floor was incredible and not just from the balcony, even sitting in the middle of the bed you could see the sunset and the ocean. The pool was clean and it was comfortable sitting near the pool without feeling cramped by other loungers. Lots of room for your chaise either near the pool or on the beautiful lawns. A nearby tiki-bar and snack shack was very convenient. I do agree though it's not the best choice for children. The gardens and grounds were impeccably maintained. A walk thru the grounds with all the blooming tropical flowers was a delight for your senses. You could get a free garden tour by one of the staff telling you the history of the hotel and all the trees and flowers. The beach was at the edge of the grounds. A short 5 minute walk to the best snorkeling site Maui has to offer. This was true paradise with a very reasonable price.

I have stayed here before and will stay here again! The Kaanapali Beach Hotel is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are very well maintained. There's live music every night, very nice pool, and beach area. The rooms are beautiful and quite large. I chose an ocean front room and was very pleased. At night we just opened the doors to the balcony and listened to the sound of the waves. It was very peaceful. I could tell that even many of the rooms overlooking the pool would have nice views of the ocean too. Breakfast came with our room and was very good. It was a hot buffet style, not just a continental breakfast. Ok, if I have to say something negative, it would be the self park- parking garage. I had no trouble finding a space, but they are narrow with cement columns next to every space. Not easy to manuver. A couple of comments about Kaanapali Beach. This is a beach area with coral off shore and some strong currents so it's not the best beach if you want to do a lot of swimming, however there were a lot of people out in the water. This hotel is a very short walk to the Whaler's Village shoping area. There are also plenty of nice restaurants just a short walk away. Don't just stay there though, make sure you drive down to the main shops in Lahaina while you're there too. Can you tell this is one of my favorite vacation destinations? This hotel will make your stay nice too. I WILL be back!
